Then move on to more advanced sequences such as:

The Epic Freestyle 2 is also capable of performing all the basic tricks as well as more challenging sequences, including Jokers and inverted maneuvers.

What really sets it apart is its high tolerance for mistakes. Even if your timing is off or your input isn't perfect, the sail remains predictable and doesn't react excessively. This feature allows you to learn at a more relaxed pace while gradually pushing your limits.

For optimal progress, BGD recommends flying in the lower or middle part of the weight range while learning maneuvers, and then gradually increasing the wing loading as you gain experience.

What's New in Epic FS 2

BGD has retained the qualities of the original version while improving several aspects.

New Elevators

The new lifts are now protected by a neoprene coating.

This concept:

• improves comfort;
• reduces the risk of snagging during tricks;
• provides additional protection for the straps.

The speed bar system is now integrated into the A-rises, preventing the speed bar lines from getting in the way during maneuvers involving twists.

New BGD Acro Grips

The Epic FS 2 comes with the new acro handles developed by BGD.

Their slimmer design offers:

• excellent handling;
• greater comfort;
• more precise control.

The neoprene-covered T-handles are slightly angled to provide a more natural hand position.

The handles are connected to the risers by a safety elastic cord. If you choose to fly without wrist straps (free brakes), you can let go of the handles without risking losing them.

For pilots who prefer to use standard grips, these can be installed in place of the BGD acro grips. In this case, wrist straps are required, as the standard grips are not compatible with the elastic attachment system.
