Rental / Test Drive, Sail Only (per day)

Would you like to try out a paraglider before buying one, or rent equipment for a trip, a training course, or a few days of flying? Air Sports Chamonix offers a selection of paragliders, harnesses, and other equipment that have been carefully maintained and inspected.

Rental Terms and Conditions

✔ A pilot's license (or equivalent) is required for EN-A and EN-B certified gliders.
✔ For higher-category gliders, mini-gliders, or specialized equipment, prior approval from an Air Sports instructor may be required.

✔ Valid aviation liability insurance is required.

✔ Presentation of a valid ID.
✔ A security deposit may be required depending on the equipment rented.

Equipment has been inspected and is ready to fly

All equipment provided is inspected before each rental. However, we ask that you check its condition before your first flight and report any issues you find to us immediately.

Rental Deduction Upon Purchase

Have you found your next sail?

If you purchase the equipment you tested within 7 days of the rental or trial period, the rental fee will be deducted in full from the purchase price (including tax).

Pilot's Responsibility

You are responsible for the equipment throughout the rental period. It must be used for its intended purpose, maintained with care, and returned clean, dry, and properly folded. Any repairs resulting from damage to the equipment are the renter’s responsibility.

Rates:

The rental period begins on the day the equipment is picked up and ends on the day it is returned.

In the event of prolonged adverse weather conditions, a goodwill gesture or a postponement may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Purchase Benefit

100% of the rental fee will be deducted from the purchase price of the tested equipment within 7 days of its return.
