Level Wings FLAME 2 Speed Wing
Description
Description
The Flame 2 builds on the innovative, accessible, and fun DNA of the first version, offering direct access to speed-riding and speed-flying for pilots seeking thrills and precision. Designed to perform equally well in miniwing and low-level flight, it is aimed at those who want to improve their skills in these demanding disciplines.
The Flame 2 retains its intuitive and playful handling, while taking responsiveness, speed, dive performance, and precision to the next level. It maintains an optimal balance between performance and enjoyment, thanks to the latest advancements in aerodynamic design and construction, for a modern approach to speed-riding and speed-flying.
Details
Profile and Suspension Design
Optimized to offer excellent resistance to collapses, the Flame 2’s profile draws on the experience gained in the development of iconic mini-wings and speed-riding wings. It gives the pilot complete confidence, regardless of flight conditions, whether speed-riding or speed-flying.
Long brake travel
The long, progressive brake travel allows for precise control, ideal for short landings, technical descents, and close-range flying.
The response is intuitive, with no dead zone, unlike many mini wings. The firm, reassuring pressure helps prevent over-steering by less experienced pilots, while providing advanced pilots with precise feedback, allowing them to fly the wing close to its limits with complete confidence.
Active Safety
At Level Wings, safety isn’t based solely on passive features. The experience gained from high-altitude mountain flights has allowed us to analyze all the factors that contribute to the safety of a speed-riding/speed-flying wing.
The result: a wing designed to inspire confidence, from the most challenging peaks to uncharted soaring areas.
Short suspension arms and precise handling
The shorter line lengths, combined with a progressive brake travel, provide precision and maneuverability reminiscent of significantly smaller wings. This uncompromising design ensures safe and efficient handling across a wide range of conditions, whether speed-riding or speed-flying.
