BGD Epic Freestyle 2 – Parapente EN-B idéal free-style et acrobaties

The perfect wing for discovering acro with confidence

Thanks to its smooth and predictable handling, it inspires confidence and allows you to learn even the most technical maneuvers with ease.

Rapid and Secure Progress

Gradually master the main acro moves:

• Stall
• Spin
• SAT
• Helicopter (Heli)

Then move on to more advanced sequences such as:

• Heli → SAT
• Misty → Heli
• MacTwist → Heli

The Epic Freestyle 2 is also capable of performing all the basic tricks as well as more challenging sequences, including Jokers and inverted maneuvers.

What really sets it apart is its high tolerance for mistakes. Even if your timing is off or your input isn't perfect, the sail remains predictable and doesn't react excessively. This feature allows you to learn at a more relaxed pace while gradually pushing your limits.

A Guide to Learning Acrobatics

The first Epic Freestyle had a profound impact on the world of acrobatic paragliding. It made it easier for many pilots—from young beginners to experienced pilots—to get into the sport.

It quickly became the go-to wing for acro schools thanks to its reassuring handling and ease of use.

TheEpic Freestyle 2 incorporates everything that made the original model a success.

The profile and overall design remain unchanged in order to preserve:

• fun handling;
• behavior that is very reassuring;
• a natural progression toward advanced moves.

But the Epic FS 2 isn't just for acrobatics.

She remains perfectly at ease when:

• soaring by the sea;
• thermal flight;
• cross-country flights.

Whether your goal is to take your first SAT, perfect your helicopter maneuvers, or simply enjoy a great day of flying, the Epic FS 2 is here to help.

What's New in Epic FS 2

New Elevators

The new lifts are now protected by a neoprene coating.

This concept:

• improves comfort;
• reduces the risk of snagging during tricks;
• provides additional protection for the straps.

The speed bar system is now integrated into the A-rises, preventing the speed bar lines from getting in the way during maneuvers involving twists.

Their slimmer design offers:

• excellent handling;
• greater comfort;
• more precise control.

The neoprene-covered T-handles are slightly angled to provide a more natural hand position.

The handles are connected to the risers by a safety elastic cord. If you choose to fly without wrist straps (free brakes), you can let go of the handles without risking losing them.
