At Parapente-proshop.com, we have been familiar with export delivery and the tax exemption system for over 10 years.
In particular, we can:
- Deliver to your vacation destination on the other side of the world,
- Delivery in mainland France to your home, workplace, parcel collection point, or post office, with VAT refund upon leaving the country.
For all our delivery solutions, there are two main principles:
1/ Immediate payment excluding taxes (excluding VAT)

Are you a private individualhaving your order delivered outside the EU? You will not be charged French VAT, so you pay for your order excluding VAT and we deliver directly to a country outside the European Union.
This is the simplest case. If you have your order delivered to a country outside the European Union, the invoice is automatically issued excluding VAT and VAT is immediately deducted from the amount payable.
Please note, however, that you may have to pay taxes on arrival.

Are you a European professionalpurchasing products related to your professional activity and having them delivered in Europe?
You may be eligible for tax exemption under certain conditions. Contact us for more information.
After you send us certain documents and we verify the validity of your VAT number, we can create a tax-exempt account for you.
2/ Payment including tax and VAT refund
Are you a foreign resident with a non-EU passport or a consular card for French expatriates?
Are you having your order delivered to France and would like to take your items home with you and benefit from tax exemption?
Under certain conditions, we can refund French VAT once customs formalities have been completed:
1/ Have your usual place of residence in a non-member state of the European Union or in a third country.
2/ Make a purchase of more than €175 including tax (excluding shipping and service charges)
3/ Have it delivered in France.
4/ Leave France via aPabloautomatic terminal (or, failing that, a customs office) with the goods purchased.
The French overseas departments (French Guiana, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Réunion, Mayotte, etc.) are excluded from the tax refund slip system.
How does it work?
- When placing your order, request a tax refund form when choosing your delivery address, and fill out thisform.
- Once your order has been finalized and paid for, we will send you an email with the list of documents required to create a Pablo tax refund slip (name of the electronic tax refund system).
Documents required to obtain a tax refund
-If you are a foreign traveler: valid passport.
- If you are a French national: valid passport + consular registration card or certificate of registration in the register of French citizens living outside France - The Pablo shipping label will be emailed to you within 24 hours of your package being shipped.
- Before the end of the third month following the month in which the document was issued, you must have your tax refund form automatically validated at a Pablo terminal when leaving the country (more than 100 Pablo terminals available).
If you do not pass through a physical customs office, you must return the original stamped/signed tax refund form to us (only if there is no Pablo terminal). - Once validated by a Pablo terminal or after receiving your stamped receipt, we will refund the VAT within a maximum of 15 days.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for your order.
Please note:

Requesting a tax refund will delay the shipment of your order.
The documents required for the tax refund must be sent to us within 48 hours of placing your order. -
The tax exemption must be requested at the same time as the order.
The invoice and delivery note must be issued on the same day, as the procedure is fully computerized for customs declarations.
You must therefore request a tax refund form at the same time as placing your order, before making your payment.
The following are excluded from the scheme and are not eligible for tax relief:
- People who live in a European Union member state: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain;
- Persons residing in the Principality of Monaco;
- Persons who leave to take up a post in a third country or in an assimilated territory;
- People who have returned to France or the European Union to resettle there;
- People who leave the European Union permanently, even if they return to their country of origin;
- Members of diplomatic and consular missions and international organizations stationed in France or the European Union;
- Students and trainees who stay in France or the European Union for six months or more per year;
- People residing in the overseas departments of Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, and Réunion;
- Transport company staff (air, sea, road) when traveling for work purposes.
Customs may cancel your tax refund form at any time if any of the conditions are not met.
In this case, we will not be able to process the refund and will not be able to issue a new invoice.
Please note:
- The person transporting the goods out of France must be the same person who made the purchase.
- The merchandise must be new and unused.
- The billing address must be outside the EU and the delivery address must be in France.
If the Pablo terminals are not working when you leave, you must go to the customs office to have your receipt validated and return it to us by mail as soon as possible. Only originals will be refunded, within six months of the date of purchase.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long do I have to validate a tax refund form?
You have three months after it is issued to validate a Pablo form with customs. After this period, we will not be able to issue a new one and no tax refund can be requested.
How much will my refund be?
Your refund will correspond to the amount of VAT paid on the goods only. This excludes any VAT on delivery costs or any services provided.
When will I be reimbursed?
Once you have passed through customs (automatic terminal), we will be notified automatically. The refund will be made within 3 to 4 weeks directly to your credit card if you paid by credit card, or by bank transfer.
