The all-new Ultralite5 offers a 0.8-point gain in glide ratio and a 7 km/h increase in speed, while weighing 100g less than version 4. With two new sizes added to the lineup, it’s available in sizes ranging from 13m² to 25m² to suit every pilot, no matter how they take off… or land.

TECHNOLOGY

A brand-new SharkNose, developed specifically for the Ultralite, is at the heart of these advancements; it improves inflation, performance, comfort, and ease of use. The Ultralite5’s takeoff sequence is the shortest we’ve ever seen on a lightweight wing—we’ve never been airborne in so few steps, a crucial advantage when taking off in the mountains.

The new canopy curvature makes the wing more compact, with more intuitive and direct handling. The new fabric panel layout and modified twist have significantly reduced drag, improving the wing’s true performance without compromising safety.

WEIGHT

The Ultralite5 weighs just 1.76 kg at 17 m², making it the lightest certified double-surface wing per square meter. The 15 m² and 13 m² sizes (tested under load only) weigh 1.59 kg and 1.42 kg, respectively.
