- Equipment protection: Designed to allow forlow tightening torquewithoutslippage (5 N·mis sufficient), so as not to crush or damage the lifters.
Editing
Repeat this procedure for each rear lift:
- Slide the soft protectors into the slots on the handles and caps to protect the lifters.
- Position the rear lift in the notch on the flexible guard. Place the small cap with its protective cover over it.
- Make sure the nuts are securely in place in the cap, and lightly tighten the two screws.
- Adjust the steering handle to the desired height and position.
- Make sure the lift is in contact only with the flexible guards on each side.
- Gradually tighten the two screws evenly to 5 N·m.
- The length of the screw protruding from the nut must be the same on both sides.
- Tighten just enough to prevent slipping: do not crush the elevator
Security
The rear steering handles are intended only for experienced pilots or those who have already been trained in this steering technique.
Inspections upon installation:
- Tighten properly but not too tightly (5 N·m).
- Tighten both screws evenly.
- Lifts must come into contact only with flexible guards.
Additional pre-flight checks:
- No stuck suspension cables.
- Handles securely fastened.
Interview
- Inspection every 100 flight hours or once a year: inspection of the condition of the elevators
- For extended storage: slightly loosen the screws
Rear-Wheel Steering
Steering with the rear wheels replaces steering with the brakes for:
- Maintain control of the profile while accelerating
- Optimize transitions and stages of the journey
- Improving Cross-Country Performance
- Reducing Drag During Accelerated Flight
In turbulent conditions, this technique is primarily intended for experienced pilots, but it is recommended to gradually become familiar with it starting during the training phase.
