The THETA ULS is EN/LTF B certified and is intended for pilots who have several years of experience, fly regularly (more than 40 hours per year), and already have considerable experience in thermal flying.
It requires active piloting using the controls, throttle, and/or handles on the C's. Pilots must be able to identify wing distortions as soon as they occur and counter them with appropriate control inputs. In addition, they must be fully familiar with normal rapid descent techniques and be able to implement them if necessary.
The THETA ULS takes you into unspoiled nature, far away from crowded launch sites. With its minimal weight, maximum comfort factor, and real performance, it will inspire you to seek out new adventures and motivate you to expand your capabilities. Our new high-performance intermediate wing is based on the ultralight construction of the OMEGA ULS.

ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT STRUCTURE
The centerpiece of the THETA ULS is its filigree internal structure, first developed for the OMEGA ULS. Thanks to feedback from countless competitions, we have perfected both the maximum possible cuts in the profile ribs (micro crossports) and the complex diagonal structures with Sliced Diagonals technology. In addition, only the lightest materials, including nitinol rods, are used.
NEW PROFILE FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE AND FLIGHT COMFORT
The new generation of profiles features ideal pressure distribution across the entire depth of the profile, which helps to balance pitch. This ensures high performance and reduced wing tension, providing a pleasant feel by optimally absorbing turbulence. In addition, the lift distribution is centered on the wingspan, generating less lift at the wing tips and therefore less leverage. The result is calm and comfortable flight behavior.
EFFECTIVE PITCH CONTROL SYSTEM
By actively flying in the C-axis, you can fully exploit the performance potential of the THETA ULS. The modern pitch control system with C-axis handles supports you in this task. Impulses are transmitted directly from the C-axis to the B-axis, so that the profile does not distort. This allows you to optimally correct the angle of attack without losing performance.
EDELRID PRO DRY HIGH-TECH SUSPENSIONS
The THETA ULS is equipped with lines that are extremely stable in length and have above-average tear resistance, even after numerous flights. The unsheathed Pro Dry lines have different colors and are 60% more water-repellent than the previous generation of lines.
