We tested this new paraglider at various sites to make sure it’s suitable for all types of flights. It takes off very well in calm conditions and climbs steadily in strong winds. In flight, its pitch and roll stability ensure a comfortable ride, and its handling—typical of OZONE—allows for precise and dynamic control.
Fewer diagonals and more attachment points allow for a more balanced load distribution across the wing. Its aspect ratio of 5.11 and 46 cells provide a flawless wing surface and excellent performance, while maintaining easy inflation and a low wing weight. The Magnum’s airfoil is a new design, created specifically to meet the demands of tandem flight. Its planform and internal wing pressure have also been engineered to provide comfortable control feel, easy takeoffs, and high performance.
The Magnum’s fabric is made entirely of Porcher Marine; the upper surface is made with the new Porcher Skytex 45 Evolution. This new material is extremely resistant to wear and stretching, providing a greater sense of precision in flight and ensuring the wing’s longevity.

DESIGNER'S NOTES
THE CONCEPT
The Magnum is a completely new design and has little in common with our previous tandem wings. The Magnum is designed to offer ease of use, performance, durability, and excellent handling—qualities that are so highly valued by professional tandem pilots.
Pros need a wing that makes their job easier. The wing must inflate progressively with minimal pitch and the best possible rounding to land easily even in the worst conditions.
These attributes are crucial, but we wanted to go a step further and add performance and maneuverability to make the Magnum the must-have wing for professionals. Feedback indicates that the Magnum is the easiest, most enjoyable, and most maneuverable tandem wing on the market, and after just one year on the market, its sales continue to rise—which says it all…
Another key feature is its durability, which ensures it is suitable for professional use. The wing’s planform and the materials used were selected to ensure that the Magnum performs well over many seasons of professional use.
NEW FEATURES
This is a brand-new wing. The airfoil we’re using was developed specifically for the Magnum. It took over a year of testing to achieve the results we wanted: pitch stability for a gradual inflation and an easy landing, solid performance, and reduced control load.
The new internal structure prevents the wing from deforming, resulting in improved performance and greater durability. Consequently, there are more line attachment points on the wing, which reduces the stress on each line and, mechanically, the tension on each attachment point and strut. All of the wing’s cells are reinforced with diagonal struts, complementing the load-distribution system.
Upper surface: Skytex 45 Evolution for two reasons:
1. Skytex fabric is lighter: this is an important factor when you regularly fly a tandem glider, as well as for the wing’s in-flight behavior.
2. It is also a stiff fabric, which means less fabric deformation and greater durability. This also means a more enjoyable flying experience and easier turns.
The Magnum (41 m²) is smaller than our previous two-seaters. We chose to reduce its size to create a lighter wing, a more enjoyable flying experience, and better maneuverability. Its compact size is one of the factors that makes the Magnum feel almost exactly like a solo wing. Performance has not been compromised by this reduction in size, thanks to the all-new airfoil.
