Ozone Wisp 2 – Ultralight tandem paraglider

The Ozone Wisp 2 Tandem Paraglider is the lightest twin-surface two-seater. Designed for alpine adventures and travel, this two-seater offers easy takeoff even on challenging terrain, good climb performance, and its glide will carry its passengers far and smoothly. It is made from a blend of Dominico 20D32 and 10D fabrics, weighs only 4 kg with the light risers, and has a wing area of 37 m² and an aspect ratio of 5.3.

The addition of winglets improves roll stability and allows for a new wing profile, providing precise handling while smoothing out the wing's behavior during side closures.

Certification

The WISP 2 is EN-B certified for a wide range of weights. This versatility allows a wide variety of crews to fly with complete peace of mind, whether in an ultralight configuration or with a full set of mountaineering or bivouac gear.

In flight

Takeoff is easy, even in tight spaces or under challenging wind conditions, thanks to intuitive inflation and quick handling. The wing climbs easily in calm conditions and remains perfectly controllable in strong winds, without outpacing the pilot. The takeoff distance is exceptionally short for a wing in this category.

In flight, the wing’s sturdy structure and excellent stability ensure outstanding performance in turbulence. Compact and reassuring, the wing is nonetheless very enjoyable to fly: the controls are direct, the brakes are precise, and the linear roll response makes it easy to bank effectively. This agility gives the WISP 2 a playful character, whether climbing in thermals or descending in calm air.

The landing is smooth and gradual, with a nice flare. For optimal takeoff and landing performance under normal conditions, the trim system should be set to the fully closed (slow) position.
