The Delta legacy is assured. The 5th generation has been designed to set a new standard in comfort, ease of use, and performance with a 2-line design that provides greater finesse and improved control across the entire speed range.

THE DRIVER

The Delta is designed for intermediate to advanced pilots, and is ideal for those looking to move up to 2-line technology. It is suitable for pilots moving up from the B+ category and will satisfy even the most experienced pilots who want the level of control offered by 2-line architecture while retaining the incredible ease of use associated with low aspect ratio.

TECHNOLOGY

The Delta is our 2-line wing with the lowest aspect ratio. Derived from the Photon and developed using years of competition experience and Ozone's expertise in 2-line designs, the Delta is a compact and robust wing ideal for cross-country flying in the most demanding conditions. Two-line wings allow for direct control of the angle of attack and reduced drag, resulting in good performance combined with ease of use never before seen on a low aspect ratio wing. Compared to its predecessor, inflation, performance, control in accelerated flight, and overall ease of use have been improved without compromising our promise of True Performance.

The new internal structure is optimized to be strong and lightweight. The wing absorbs turbulence without deforming across its span, maintaining its compactness even in the strongest aerology, which is particularly advantageous for maintaining good controllability in the most challenging conditions.

CERTIFICATION

The Delta 5 has been EN-C certified in all sizes using folding lines.

THE THEFT

The new Delta retains the same accessibility and true performance qualities as the previous version.

The 2-line architecture allows for better inflation in all conditions, with the wing tips less likely to rise first. It does not overpower the pilot in strong conditions, rises quickly and easily without wind, and is generally more docile than any other 2-line kite in our range.

The Delta has a responsive control system that gives you a lot of control over roll and yaw. It feels like you're directly connected to the wing, while still having a pretty long range of movement that lets you make big moves, whether you're looking for an instant change in roll/yaw in a thermal or want to slow the wing down when approaching a tricky landing.

You can perform a wing drop by pulling either the AR3 or BR3 lines. With the AR3 lines, you need to pull firmly at first—we didn't want to reduce the strength of the wing tips during normal flight—but once in place, the wing drops are stable across the entire speed range. Wing drops with the BR3 lines are less effective but easier to pull and reopen more quickly.

The Delta is equipped with new risers featuring height-adjustable handles on the B lines for optimal control of the wing, regardless of the pilot's physique.
