Description

The SAVAGE 2 is an ultralight 2.5-line EN-C wing designed for experienced pilots who want to combine performance, flying enjoyment, and light weight. Tailored
For cross-country flying and challenging Hike & Fly adventures, it’s your ideal partner for your next long-distance flights, competitions, and bivouac flights. It offers the perfect balance between technical performance and accessibility in its class.

Available starting at 2.99 kg, the SAVAGE 2 is an EN-C ultralight designed for experienced pilots who want to venture out on cross-countryand challenging Hike & Fly or bivouacking. Its features make it suitable for both competition as well as long Alpine crossings, where every gram counts and precise handling remains essential. It retains the identity and profile that made the original SAVAGE a success, while pushing the boundaries of lightness even further. It embodies the perfect balance between performance, lightness, and agility.

Thanks to its 2.5-line design, the SAVAGE 2 combines the accessibility and maneuverability of a 3-line kite with performance inspired by 2-line kites. Agile, precise, and responsive, it’s a particularly enjoyable kite to fly while maintaining a high level of passive safety for its class. It allows you to reach your full potential, even in challenging conditions, while remaining playful and efficient from takeoff to landing.

Its ultralight design, derived from the materials used in the WILD 2, has been meticulously optimized to ensure low weight and optimal compactness. The internal structure ensures excellent durability, while the exposed lines reduce drag to maximize performance.

The SAVAGE 2 is much more than just a lightweight wing: it’s a true flying machine for pilots seeking distance and adventure in the mountains.

Adventure and Versatility

Designed to be a true exploration partner, the SAVAGE 2 is aimed at experienced pilots whose ambitions are set on reaching the summits.

A trusted companion for both long cross-country hikes deep in the mountains and bivouac flying adventures.

Versatile and precise, it’s suitable for all activities where lightness and performance go hand in hand.

Handling and Control

Agile and responsive, it reacts instantly to control inputs and allows for precise control during all phases of flight.

With its outstanding accessibility in the EN-C category, the SAVAGE 2 combines performance, enjoyment, and confidence, regardless of the terrain or conditions.

An ultralight, precision-engineered, and reliable design

To achieve this level of performance without compromising on weight, the internal structure of the SAVAGE 2 has been optimized down to the smallest detail. The fabrics used are inspired by its big sister, the WILD 2, and are known for their lightweight. The exposed, color-coded lines ensure easy visibility both on the ground and in flight.

The risers were specifically designed to optimize high-speed flying: the B-line pulley system limits profile distortion and ensures maximum consistency by affecting the wing’s entire angle of attack.

What is 2.5-line design?

The SAVAGE 2 features a 2.5-line design—a technical choice that falls between the architecture of 3-line progressive wings and the higher-performance design of 2-line wings.

In this type of design, the wing retains three rows of lines in the center to ensure excellent profile stability and a high level of passive safety but has only two rows at the tips, which significantly reduces drag.

This compromise makes it possible to achieve performance inspired by a 2-line wing (improved glide, better air penetration, more effective rear-line control), while retaining the comfort, forgiveness, and passive safety of a 3-line wing. At the same time, optimized materials result in greater lightness and compactness—a real advantage for hike-and-fly.

This design choice reflects the SAVAGE 2's commitment to delivering performance and lightness, while remaining accessible and safe during challenging flights.
