Hiking and flying? It is one kilogram lighter than the EPIC 2, weighing 3.4 kg in XS and 4.4 kg in L. It folds easily without requiring complicated packing techniques. For cross-country? Absolutely. It's a wing with excellent glide performance and more speed than the original ECHO. Take it to the mountains, the ECHO 2 is right at home there!

The ECHO is back, and our B-entry wing is perfect for pilots who love everything about free flight.
Hiking flight? No problem! One kilogram lighter than the EPIC 2, it weighs 3.4 kg in XS and 4.4 kg in L. It folds and compacts very well without requiring any special technique.
Long-distance flight? Absolutely! It remains a B-class glider with excellent performance and more power and speed than the first-generation ECHO. You can push the throttle to the max without fear, and the ECHO 2 is equipped with our Speed-Riser system connecting the B and C lines so you can always enjoy light handling at the rear, no matter how many miles you fly!
Bivouac flying? With pleasure! The sheathed lines combined with easy-to-handle risers and a judicious choice of fabrics make the ECHO 2 smile at the sight of a rocky takeoff. The lines are easy to untangle in the wild and inflation is really easy. So take it to the mountains... It's its second home!

Public

The ECHO 2 is a true Swiss Army knife, your fifth ace up your sleeve. Whether you're a novice or have 20 years of experience, it's the perfect choice for you, with its fun handling and top-of-the-range performance. We've implemented innovative solutions to address the issue of lightness and durability. We use a unique combination of fabrics that makes it a lightweight, durable, and easy-to-use wing. So whether you're flying locally, on a hike, on a trip, or on an overnight flight, the ECHO 2 is the wing for you!

Designer's notes

With the ECHO 2, we wanted a lightweight, attractive, and fun wing that was easy to pack and take anywhere. At the same time, it had to remain intuitive and not too fragile, while maintaining solid performance. The ECHO 2 is made entirely from high-end Porcher fabrics, mainly 27 g/m² for the upper and lower surfaces and 38 g/m² at the center of the leading edge to ensure durability in the most stressed areas.

The leading edge rods are short and we didn't need to use them anywhere else on the wing, making it easy to fold and perfectly compact in a small volume.

We opted for the same risers as on the EPC 2 because they are much more comfortable and ergonomic to hold than braided Dyneema risers. Whether you are a novice or taking the ECHO 2 into extreme environments, everything has been designed to make it easy to use. We have also kept the low-sheath lines for the same reasons: they are easy to see, allowing you to quickly spot if they are caught on anything before inflating. This also allows us to maintain a color code to easily distinguish each group of lines.

We have paid a LOT of attention to inflation, taking feedback from pilots into account. The wing rises easily above your head until you decide to take off. It doesn't lag behind or overshoot in strong winds. Easy and relaxed... you'll love it!

Pilot safety is always at the forefront of our minds, and this is especially true when it comes to developing entry-level B-wing sails, and the ECHO 2 is no exception. Nevertheless, we were also looking for a tangible improvement in performance. It has more glide and speed than the ECHO 1, and we have used a hybrid riser system similar to the Base 2. You can explore the entire speed range, including the speed bar, in complete safety, while learning to correct your course on the brakes. The ECHO 2's high pitch stability will allow you, if you wish, to calmly approach and develop this new rear steering technique.

The large brake travel prevents accidental stalls or spins, yet the controls are extremely precise and direct. The wing is fun and playful: BGD all the way. The colors also burst onto the underside for even more personality (and as a pilot, you get to enjoy them too!).
