While the DELIGHT 4 SPORT inherits the comfort and ease of use that made the first three DELIGHT models so successful, its aerodynamic profiling and precision handling make it a performance cocoon tailored for ambitious distance flights.
ABOUT DELIGHT 4 SPORT
Fly high, fly far. This is the goal that motivates many pilots and drives them to excel in the air. Cross-country flying is above all an endurance discipline, where mental and physical fitness play a key role in performance. In this sport, one thing is certain: equipment should not be a source of additional mental stress.
Following in the footsteps of the DELIGHT series, the DELIGHT 4 SPORT is the fourth generation of cocoon harnesses designed and developed specifically for comfortable distance flying.
Throughout its design, the goal was to make the harness simple so that you can focus on what matters most: flying. To achieve this, our designers kept three fundamental concepts in mind: comfort, performance, and safety.
The structure of its seat, which is more rigid than that of the DELIGHT3, allows you to fly for hours on end without ever compromising on comfort. The use of a seat board prevents lateral pressure points while filtering the air mass to communicate only the information necessary for precise piloting. In turbulent conditions, the stable and reassuring nature of the DELIGHT 4 SPORT allows you to stay focused on your piloting with complete confidence, without experiencing unnecessary jolts.
The safety is at the heart of the DELIGHT 4 SPORT's development. Equipped with a new BUMPAIR that is lighter than the DELIGHT3's, the harness ensures high-performance protection for maximum safety. Divided into two parts, a zipper allows you to unfold the protection flat for simple and compact storage in the carrying bag. In the same spirit of maximum passive safety, a fall arrest device certified to the new standards (450 kg) is used for double belaying the chest harness.
Comfort comfort in flight depends on the practicality and simplicity of every action. The DELIGHT 4 SPORT is therefore a highly accessorized that provides you with everything you need throughout the flight: a large-capacity rigid cockpit, USB cable passage, side pockets, various passages for water bladder tubes, ballast drainage, and even a penilex... Similarly, the harness adjustments remain accessible in the air, allowing you to you to adjust your position at any time during the flight.
The profiling of the DELIGHT 4 SPORT improves the line of the harness. Its more aerodynamic profile increases performance in cross country, in addition to stabilizing the whole unit on the yaw axis. This sport version of the DELIGHT4 is designed for cross-country pilots looking for a high-performance harness without compromising on comfort and safety.
