Description
THE BALANCE BETWEEN PRECISION AND SIMPLICITY
The BlueBip is an ultralight Bluetooth audio vario designed specifically for paragliding. Thanks to its Bluetooth connectivity, it connects to your smartphone or tablet as soon as you turn it on, providing ultra-precise flight information.
Equipped with high-precision sensors, it measures instantaneous Vz, barometric altitude, glide ratio, and more.
Powered by SunPower solar technology, it recharges continuously, offering over 100 hours of battery life.
Thanks to its Instant Vario technology and exclusive sound feedback, it offers an intuitive and enjoyable flying experience, while its powerful configurator lets you customize it to your preferences.
Made in France with over 10 years of expertise and innovation, the BlueBip is the essential tool for paragliders seeking simplicity and reliability.
- BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY
Wireless on the go.
The BlueBip connects via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to your smartphone or tablet (Android and iOS) as soon as you turn it on.
It allows you to use flight apps such as XCtrack, FlySkyHy, SeeYou Navigator, and many others, by sending highly accurate flight data such as barometric altitude, atmospheric pressure, rate of climb and descent, and more.
Thanks to its small size, it can be attached to a helmet, a harness strap, or the cockpit.
Likethe UltraBip, the BlueBip is an essential companion to the Submarine harness for pilots seeking maximum performance in cross-country flying and competition.
You can also add a screen to your BlueBip using the ActiveLook smart glasses.
The BlueBip does not have a built-in GPS. In our product line, the UltraBipisour most advanced device, featuring a GPS logger.
- HIGH-PRECISION SENSORS
Precise measurements for efficient flight.
The BlueBip is a self-contained solar-powered device designed specifically for paragliding.
It combines the features of a solar-powered audio variometer and a “sensorbox” that houses several sensors, such as a pressure sensor, an accelerometer, and a gyroscope (inertial measurement unit).
These sensors allow the flight app to receive the instantaneous and integrated (over 15 seconds) vertical speed (Vz), the exact glide ratio, and the precise barometric altitude.
The sensors built into the BlueBip offer much greater accuracy and are specifically designed for paragliding, outperforming the sensors found in smartphones.
The data measured by the BlueBip is transmitted via Bluetooth to the flight app (Android and iPhone), using various protocols and standards. Thanks to this flexibility, it is directly compatible with most flight apps available on the market.
- SUNPOWER TECHNOLOGY
Fly on solar power.
Free your mind and go fly without worrying about the battery level!
The BlueBip is solar-powered and features a high-performance SunPower solar cell with an impressive output of 193 mW.
This new, thinner, and more discreet solar cell is reinforced with a sturdy layer of PET/EVA, providing it with high protection against impacts and scratches.
The device charges continuously, even when it is turned off. Excess solar energy is stored in a high-capacity internal battery, giving you more than 100 hours of battery life without sunlight.
- POWERFUL CONFIGURATOR
Unlimited customization.
With theConfigurator web app, you can fully customize your BlueBip to meet your specific needs.
The Configurator includes a graphical vario editor. This intuitive tool allows you to simulate changes in the vario's sound based on the rate of climb or descent.
You can enable or disable features such as takeoff detection, Bluetooth, remote control mode, and many more!
The BlueBip software can be easily updated. When connected to a computer via a USB cable (included), it functions like a USB flash drive. All you need to do is copy and paste the update file available online.
We regularly offer free updates to continuously improve our products. This way, you can easily take advantage of the latest features and improvements in BlueBip.
Smaller and lighter than a matchbox.
Compact, sturdy, and scratch-resistant, the BlueBip is an ultralight Bluetooth audio altimeter.
Weighing just 26 grams, you can always leave it attached to your gear—whether for calm morning flights, overnight flights, or long, technical cross-country flights.
Its wide range of settings and uses make it indispensable for both paragliders looking to improve their skills and competitors seeking a reliable vario they can always count on.
