Supair Walibi 3 - Two-seater harness for the pilot

The Walibi 3 is a tandem harness with leg straps. The foam-bag-style protection is designed to conform to the pilot’s movements while providing full-body protection. Thanks to its materials and design, it is a high-end harness and a workhorse built for intensive tandem use. The Walibi 3 and the Minimax 3 were developed in parallel to form Supair’s high-end tandem package. 

The foam bag protector is designed for professional use. It provides complete freedom of movement. Featuring a three-part design, it protects the pilot from the back of the thighs to the upper back. This protector is removable. The reserve parachute pocket has been completely redesigned: it consists of flaps specially arranged to create a smooth appearance when closed. The emergency parachute handle is attached to the harness to prevent it from getting caught during takeoff, and the emergency riser sheath connects directly to the spreaders.

Ergonomics is at the heart of the design of this professional-grade product. It features a two-point closure system for speed, a heavy-duty zipper for durability, sheathed emergency ascender guides extending all the way to the spreaders, and a state-of-the-art parachute pocket. On this new Walibi 3, weight optimization was achieved while maintaining robustness. The weight was reduced thanks to the selection of materials and components made by our R&D team.

A new multi-layered design for the harness backrest provides excellent lumbar support. The numerous adjustment options allow professional pilots to ensure optimal ergonomics tailored to their body type. A removable camera pocket—specially developed for this Walibi 3 model—will greatly facilitate the use of the camera boom.
