The Ozo 2.1 is the most versatile of our lightweight harnesses. It’s a 550g all-in-one solution for fans of cross-country flying.
The Ozo 2.1 now features a bottom panel made of sturdy, durable 210D fabric and attachment points for the optional OzAir protection. The backpack also features the “ Ozone Cut Stripe” design with reflective ink that helps make you visible when you’re on the road at the start and end of your hike.

The Pilot
The Ozo 2.1 is designed for cross-country flying adventures where light weight is important, but ease of use and comfort remain top priorities. It is suitable for pilots of all skill levels.
Technology
The Ozo 2.1's backpack mode is designed for fast, comfortable ascents. It's inspired by trail running packs, with wide, breathable shoulder straps that distribute the load, and it allows you to carry two easily accessible water bottles.
There are plenty of carrying options—several exterior pockets and a helmet compartment let you bring everything you need, whether you're heading out for a quick trail run or a long backpacking trip.
The 30-liter bag is large enough to hold any size wing from the Ultralite, XXLite, or equivalent lines. The EVA foam leg supports provide comfort during longer flights. A lightweight speed bar is included with the harness.
The Ozo 2.1 is certified to EN 1651-2017 for pilots weighing up to 120 kg.
In Flight
The quick-release thigh straps make it easy to put the harness on, whether you’re wearing boots, crampons, or skis. The harness’s design makes it easy to transition between standing and sitting positions. The generous lumbar support and padded shoulder straps ensure your comfort, whether you’re soaring or on a long descent.
Protection
To complement this unique harness, Ozone has designed the OzAir back protector—an ultralight, discreet inflatable protector optimized for both walking and flying expeditions as well as soaring in strong winds.
The OzAir weighs only 460 grams; it has been certified for a maximum acceleration of 31.7gandinflates easily before each flight to protect you during technical takeoffs.
Its form-fitting design makes it easier to perform the quick maneuvers required when flying small gliders, which sets it apart from traditional airbags—and also encourages more experienced pilots to use it.
