WHY WATERPROOF?

To protect your wing from sweat from your back during a "Walk & Fly" session.

Your sweat can damage the fabric of your paraglider. To protect it, a waterproof fabric panel has been incorporated into the Easy Pack Waterproof NEO.

The Waterproof Ripstop fabric was specifically developed by NEO and has a waterproof rating of 2,000 mm. You can fold your sail into thirds or quarters; the waterproof fabric panel will protect your sail from sweat.

WHY SHOULD YOU WATERPROOF THE FOLDABLE BAG?

... and not on the carrier bag?

Because it helps keep your back well-ventilated. Between your back and the waterproof fabric is the fabric of your backpack. This layer ensures good breathability. It’s the same principle as the layered system used in technical clothing.

WHY LIGHTWEIGHT YET DURABLE?

... High-Tenacity Triple Ripstop

The NEO Easypack Waterproof is made entirely of ripstop fabric, which prevents tears from spreading.

The bag's main fabric is a new, lightweight 40-gram triple ripstop polyamide. The triple ripstop weave makes it highly tear-resistant. The waterproof fabric is also a ripstop.

The Easypack Waterproof weighs 220 g, including the compression strap.

FOLDING INTO 3 OR 4 PARTS

The bag can be folded into 3 or 4 sections, depending on the configuration of your sail and the size of your carry bag.

The bag is open at the bottom so you can leave your wing attached to its harness. Plastic buckles hold the wing in place while you close the zipper.

During compression, air is released through the top of the bag, where a mesh panel is provided. The leading edge is fully protected by the zipper closure. The compression strap is built-in and remains balanced regardless of how the bag is folded.
