The prices displayed on Parapente-Proshop are estimated based on your geographic location.
This estimate may be incorrect in some cases (use of a VPN, country of connection different from the country of delivery, etc.).
Final VAT calculation
The actual applicable VAT rate is calculated only after you enter your shipping address, just before the payment step.
The amount displayed at this step is the final amount billed.
Deliveries within the European Union (EU)
For deliveries within the European Union, VAT is applied at the rate in force in the country of delivery, in accordance with European regulations.
The amount of VAT therefore depends on the country to which your order is delivered.
Deliveries outside the European Union
For deliveries outside the European Union (Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Dubai, Montenegro, etc.), orders are invoiced without VAT.
However, local taxes, import VAT, and/or customs duties may be charged by the authorities of the destination country upon delivery.

If your delivery address is outside the European Union
- Your order is invoiced without European VAT.
- Customs duties, local taxes, and/or import VAT may be required upon arrival of the package.
- these fees are not included in the price displayed on the website;
- their amount depends exclusively on the regulations of the destination country.
Refusal to pay taxes and customs fees required by local authorities may result in the package being blocked, returned, or destroyed, without the possibility of a refund.
Example – Order delivered to Switzerland
For delivery within Switzerland
- The order is invoiced without European VAT.
- Swiss VAT is payable on importation at the applicable rate (8.1%);
- Customs duties may apply. In Switzerland, these are generally low for this type of product and usually amount to between 1 and 2% of the value, depending on the nature and weight of the items.
- These amounts are requested by the carrier or Swiss customs upon delivery.
Parapente-Proshop is not involved in calculating or collecting these fees.
