The WEIGHTLESS was developed for X-Alps athletes and specially refined for weight-conscious cross-country pilots. It is therefore the perfect harness for ambitious projects ranging from hike and fly to XC and bivouac flying, as well as high-level competition. Its special features include minimal weight, a multitude of useful details, and great comfort. This excellent aerodynamic cross-country harness also impresses with its sleek and dynamic silhouette.
A competitive DNA
The new WEIGHTLESS is a further development of the X-Alps 2021 athlete harness. It capitalizes on the experience gained during ADVANCE's nine previous participations in the X-Alps, including five victories. The seat shell, internal structure, and harness system of the WEIGHTLESS are identical to those of the athletes' version. A large proportion of the materials used are also the same as those used in the athletes' harness.
ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHT
This ultra-light XC harness can be used from a minimum weight of 1.9 kg, which even in this configuration offers a high level of comfort for long distance flights. Despite its minimal weight, the WEIGHTLESS features appropriate reinforcements, optimized use of materials, and a stretchy elastane speedbag.
The WEIGHTLESS is certified up to 120 kg.
FULLY OPERATIONAL
The WEIGHTLESS makes no compromises when it comes to safety or comfort! This harness has an integrated emergency parachute pocket. The protector is easy to use as it does not need to be inflated beforehand. The WEIGHTLESS features useful and practical details as well as an ingenious cockpit.
TECHNOLOGIES & FEATURES
Twin-Fit Protector
The two-part protection system consists of a foam protector and the backpack, which can be stored in the compartment above. The result: more compact storage of equipment and more space available in the back compartment. It is also possible to use an additional protective element and thus store the backpack in the back compartment in the conventional manner.
New LIGHTPACK ULS
The LIGHTPACK ULS is constructed from "Ultra Light Structure" and is part of the extensive WEIGHTLESS package. It is also derived from the X-Alps athlete backpack and features adapted shoulder straps and numerous practical details. The LIGHTPACK ULS is available in sizes 52, 60, and 70 liters.
PERFECT AERODYNAMICS
The rear spoiler of the WEIGHTLESS gives it reduced drag aerodynamics. This performance advantage is accompanied by marked longitudinal stability. Two small air intakes inflate the spoiler, keeping it taut and wrinkle-free during flight.
Integrated emergency compartment
The WEIGHTLESS has an integrated emergency parachute pocket, and the emergency parachute is connected to the shoulder straps. This system increases safety, greatly simplifies overall handling, and reduces the risk of incorrect use.
AN INTERCHANGEABLE SPEEDBAG
Naturally, a WEIGHTLESS complies with ADVANCE quality standards and is therefore available with a choice of three speedbag sizes. The advantages of this offer are clear: increased harness life and a perfect fit for the pilot's body. The speedbag comes with a sturdy yet extremely lightweight carbon footrest of the latest generation.
ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT COCKPIT
The WEIGHTLESS cockpit is extremely practical and very lightweight. It can be easily detached, has a closable pocket, and a separate compartment for batteries. The instrument panel measures 20 x 13 cm.
The WEIGHTLESS is an ultralight harness. The "Handle with Care" label is there to remind you that the lifespan of this product depends largely on how well you look after it. Mechanical stress such as rubbing against the ground accelerates the aging process and must be avoided at all costs. A lightweight product is much more vulnerable to damage of all kinds.
