Description

The Solos Lite is an ultralight reversible harness—one kilogram lighter than the standard Solos—without compromising the comfort or flight feel that have made it our best-selling harness since its release.

  • 2.3 kg , fully equipped and with maximum protection
  • 2.1 kg , excluding the board and replacing the carabiners with Dyneema loops
  • The combination of comfort, safety, and lightness makes it a benchmark in its class
  • An innovative, ultra-lightweight design made of 7mm Dyneema with T-loops
  • An inflatable back protector equipped with an inflation/carrying bag
  • The carrying bag is designed to fit every size of harness, ensuring optimal comfort when carrying it.

Ideal for cross-country flights and for anyone looking for a lightweight yet versatile harness. The Solos Lite isn’t just the lightest in its class—it’s also the most sophisticated lightweight reversible harness on the market.

In Flight

The Solos Lite offers excellent comfort and flight precision, on par with the standard Solos. It’s simple and intuitive to fly, with a bucket-style seat and easy adjustments. An innovative T-buckle system allows you to open and close the thigh straps. While the materials used for both the frame and the panels were chosen to minimize weight, strategically placed reinforcements ensure remarkable durability.

Facilities

We’ve maintained the high standard of features found in the original Solos, including a spacious side pocket, a strap to secure a camera or instrument, a pocket designed to hold a hydration bladder, a tube channel, and a Velcro strap for a vario mounted near the shoulder. The parachute container is securely held and well-protected in backpack mode, while its large opening for pod extraction ensures excellent deployment.

Protection

The inflatable back protector offers the best protection-to-weight ratio we’ve ever seen. Tested in numerous configurations during development, it ensures impact deceleration that meets the standard even when not fully inflated. At takeoff, it inflates quickly and easily using the inflation bag included with the harness, which also serves as a storage bag for the wing.

An additional advantage of the inflatable back protector is that it is effective from the moment the vehicle begins to move, whereas other airbags do not yet provide protection, and it offers better protection in the event of a side-impact collision. The airtight air bladder can be easily replaced in the event of a leak.

The Bag

The daypack has been completely redesigned to optimize weight and gear capacity with a stronger focus on ski touring. The pack’s volume has been optimized for lightweight gear, and the shoulder straps have been redesigned. Although lightweight, the pack is very well-equipped: it features a side pocket designed to hold a water bottle, a large zippered pocket where you can attach a key, and an ergonomic hip belt with an easily accessible pocket.

Can I try on the Solo Lite that you sell? I'm 1.80 m tall, and the only size left is L, which is for people 1.85 m or taller—do you think it'll fit?

Parapente-ProShop - Chamonix -

Hello,
Yes, you can try it on the fitting rack.
As for the size, no—I'd recommend a size M.
