Description

The benchmark wing for beginners, completely redesigned
The ALPHA 8, the iconic entry-level model designed for paragliding schools and beginner paragliders, reaches new heights by combining performance, lightness, and durability.

  • DLS Version: Lighter, more compact, and higher-performance—ideal for beginners and casual pilots who are concerned about the weight and size of their backpack.

  • Starting at 3.6 kg, up to 800 g lighter than the Classic version

Technical Specifications and Changes Compared to the ALPHA 7

Cutting-edge technology for an exceptional flight experience

The new ALPHA 8 features technical innovations that enhance both performance and flight comfort:

    • A thicker rope at the ends reduces the stalling point, increases brake travel, and improves stability.
    • A redesigned profile: The optimized pressure distribution along the chord line provides extremely smooth pitch movement, ensuring a fluid flight and improved performance.
    • An improved leading edge: Thanks to a new development method, the leading edge has fewer creases, resulting in a significant improvement in aerodynamic performance.
    • More balanced handling: Reducing lift at the wing tips minimizes the leverage effect, resulting in an even more stable, enjoyable, and forgiving flight.

These advancements make the ALPHA 8 a top choice for pilots seeking safety, reliability, and an enhanced flying experience
