Ozone Swift 6 Paraglider

The Swift 6 is the lightweight version of the Rush 6. By using lighter materials and ultra-optimized construction techniques, the weight of the wing has been reduced by 900g. Reducing inertia results in a more agile wing that is easier to inflate. Like the Alpina 4 from which it is derived, the Swift 6 is equipped with all the performance-enhancing technologies found on the Enzo and Zeno, giving it the best glide ratio and cross-country performance in its class.

Takeoff

Inflation has improved significantly and takeoff in calm winds is now on par with our easiest wings: it climbs with little effort and responds perfectly to corrections. In strong winds, it is easy to control and does not tend to outpace the pilot.

Agility

In flight, the Swift 6 is a real gem: precise and dynamic handling, high maximum speed, and formidable efficiency in cross-country flying. The brakes provide precise control from the start of the race and great authority beyond. The structure maintains perfect cohesion of the wing across the span and chord, giving the wing incredible agility that increases lift efficiency.

New Technologies

The strength of the wing in accelerated flight has been increased by adopting a new profile and optimizing the internal structure, not to mention the "ACR" risers. The structure of the Swift 6, the strongest we have ever developed, maintains the integrity of the profile even in turbulent aerology, avoiding the loss of performance associated with deformation along the chord. The active control risers (ACR) inherited from the Delta 4 allow the pilot to control the angle of attack without changing the camber of the profile. By acting on both the B and C lines, the ACR gives the pilot control similar to that of a 2-line wing on a 3-line wing.

The aspect ratio has been deliberately kept moderate to maintain the ease of use, flying pleasure, and passive safety of previous models. Performance gains have been achieved through a hybrid 3/2-line rigging, new 3D cutting patterns on the leading edge, and optimization of the trailing edge mini-ribs, resulting in a significant reduction in parasitic drag and ultimately greater glide ratio and speed.

The Pilot

The Swift 6 is very accessible and a wide range of pilots will have a lot of fun with this wing. It is EN B certified and ideal for experienced intermediate recreational pilots and cross-country pilots who fly at least 50 hours per year and have already completed SIV training.
