Intro
Everyone needs a Guardian Angel… Pilots who want a fast-opening, stable, ultra-light reserve parachute that packs down to a small volume can rely on the ANGEL SQ PRO. The OZONE R&D team has put its expertise into the design and development of the Angel SQ to bring this concept to the state of the art.
It comes with a short bridle designed to be mounted on a fifth wheel that has its own built-in emergency bridle or by adding an intermediate bridle, it fits perfectly with the Ozium, BV or F*Race ranges but can also be mounted on any other fifth wheel or front container. A long Y bridle is also available.
Technology
The Angel SQ PRO has a relatively large surface area, yet is ultra-light, giving it exceptional sink rate and stability combined with fast opening. Its large size is the main ingredient in its excellent sink rate – all sizes of the Angel SQ PRO have a good margin for their certification weight. The Angel SQ Pro is particularly distinguished by its pendulum stability, which can be even more important than raw sink rate performance.
Materials and Certification
The Angel SQ PRO is made with the highest quality materials: Dominico 10D and Dyneema Cousin lines. The Angel SQ PRO is EN certified and available in sizes 85, 100 and 120. These materials were chosen for the optimal balance they offer in terms of durability, weight and packing volume.
The Angel SQ PRO is EN and LTF certified according to EN 12491 and LTF 91/09 standards.
The flight
The design of modern square reserve parachutes has proven time and again to offer significantly better pendulum stability and a significantly better sink rate than a conventional round parachute, as well as a remarkable opening speed, and represents a significant improvement in our safety. Although ultra-light, the Angel SQ PRO nevertheless has a relatively large surface area, which gives it an exceptional sink rate.
