The SPIRIT meets the needs of pilots looking for minimal weight, small volume, and enjoyable handling. When developing this lightweight project, we focused on minimizing pack size and weight while maximizing ease of handling and flying pleasure. With its ultra-light weight of 1.75 kg, pilots can put together a pack weighing less than 4 kg by combining it with the CORE harness and the TAPA X-ALPS reserve.

Depending on your weight and skill level, you can choose the size that best suits your needs: smaller sizes are ideal for dynamic flying, for quickly descending from a summit, and for days with strong winds. In larger sizes, the SPIRIT can be used for introductory flying and is therefore also suitable for beginners in the world of paragliding who prefer cross-country flying.

Details
The compact wing allows takeoffs from even the smallest areas; a slight push is all it takes and the wing reliably lifts the pilot into the air. As the wing generates lift quickly, the distance between takeoff and flight is reduced accordingly, meaning that even takeoffs from technically difficult terrain are successful.

In the air, the SPIRIT reacts quickly and directly to inputs thanksto its small wingspan andreduced line cone.
Depending on the size and wing loading, the reactions are very different. The range of applications is therefore very varied. With a high wing loading, the SPIRIT can be flown very dynamically, while with a low wing loading, it is well suited to thermals.

Despite its low weight, the SPIRIT was not only designed as an ultra-light downhill wing, but also offers sufficient performance to fly out of long valleys and—depending on the wing loading—can also be used for thermal flying.

Whether you're just starting out or completing extraordinary expeditions, SPIRIT is always the benchmark choice for your project!

JET FLAPS

Enormous safety reserve at the stall margin, facilitates climbing in thermals, particularly in narrow and powerful thermals. Increases control deflection up to the stall point.

SHARK NOSE

Combined with a suitable wing design, shark nose technology significantly improves pressure distribution in the wing. Advantages: much greater stability in flight and a substantial performance gain, particularly during accelerated flight.

RIGID FOIL

Nylon threads keep the leading edge and profile in shape and ensure more consistent dynamic air pressure. Advantages: better takeoff performance and increased performance.

3D SHAPING

Precise calculation of the leading edge geometry and the addition of an extra strip of fabric reduce wrinkles in this sensitive part of the wing. Advantages: exact wing shape, improved performance.

MINI RIBS

Doubling the number of cells at the trailing edge significantly improves shape retention. Advantage: fewer vortices improve aerodynamics and therefore performance.

LOOPS & HOOKS

Loops on the upper surface that enable and facilitate takeoff from steep or slippery terrain.

AUTOMATIC SAND RELEASE SYSTEM

Sand and other debris automatically drain through openings sewn into the stabilizers, which protects the materials and increases safety when flying over dunes.

Size Guide

The SPIRIT reacts quickly and directly to inputs. Depending on the size and wing loading, the reactions vary greatly. The range of applications is therefore very diverse. With a high wing loading, the SPIRIT can be flown very dynamically, while with a low wing loading, it is suitable for thermals. The chart should help you choose the right size.
