As PERMAIR is the most proven inflatable protection technology on the market, NEO is benefiting from a partnership with Skywalk to use this technology on its harnesses with removable leg protectors.

The thickness of the Permair protection is 22 cm, which allows you to be effectively protected whatever the variation in atmospheric pressure during your flight.

Permair got 38.8 g to the EN test. Even when inflated to 60%, shock absorption is effective. The latest generation of PERMAIR protectors incorporates a practical control valve for inflation and deflation, which makes filling your protector considerably easier. The protector does not need to be re-inflated at each takeoff; if you do not need to compress it into a very tight carrying bag, you can leave the protector inflated.

The NEO STRING PERMAIR inflatable removable protection system fits the NEO String range: String 3.0 and Stringpack 2.0.

We chose the inflatable for this range of minimalist harness because the classic Airbag in removable version no longer suits us in terms of safety compared to new technologies such as the Koroyd or the Permair.

Skywalk's Permair technology will be used for removable protections on ABS harnesses with leg straps. Koroyd technology is more suitable for harnesses with classic ABS and bucket seats.

The NEO STRING PERMAIR is a one-size-fits-all product.

MULTIPLE INFLATION METHODS

Permair 2.0 protectors can also be inflated in several ways. In addition to the usual method with the inflation bag and compression function, you now have the option of inflating your protector in a minimalist way via the mouthpiece. This mouthpiece includes a moisture filter to minimize moisture infiltration and is included in the supplied Permair kit.

Inflation with the inflation bag

The inflation bag has a capacity of approximately 40 liters. The protection can be filled with air transfer. The inflation bag connection must be facing upwards for filling and must not be twisted or twisted.

Inflation by mouth

This inflation must be done via the Permair mouthpiece. It is important that the HME filter (blue sponge) is inside the mouthpiece. For hygiene reasons, the mouthpiece must be replaced after two years or if it shows signs of mold.
