Description

The Sublite is an ultra-light competition harness designed for hike & fly. Proven in the X-Alps and other major competitions, it stands out for its efficiency and ease of use. Weighing only 1.5 kg in size M, it incorporates targeted reinforcements for optimal durability and benefits from Ozone's R&D expertise, enriched by feedback from top-level pilots.

The pilot

The Sublite is designed for competitive hike & fly pilots and demanding cross-country pilots seeking maximum lightness and aerodynamic performance. Its Submarine-style fairing improves handling and safety in tricky conditions. Aimed at pilots already familiar with this concept, it offers precision, comfort, and efficiency in flight that are perfectly aligned with Ozone's philosophy.

Technology

The Sublite combines the innovations of the F*Race 2 and Submarine for an optimal balance between ultra-lightweight and robustness. The reinforced Dyneema 3D seat, complemented by PETG and carbon reinforcements, improves comfort and control while reducing weight.
The ergonomic straps make it easy to put on, with a removable cockpit pocket for quick access to equipment. The reserve parachute is ideally positioned and easily accessible. All pockets can be used in flight, with a large rear compartment.
The ultra-light foam protection and Nitinol nose ensure very compact packing and quick inflation of the canopy.

In flight

The Sublite can be put on in an instant thanks to its ergonomic strap system: one movement, one clip, one zipper, and you're ready to go. The magnetic closure automatically ensures a watertight, wrinkle-free seal.

In flight, the glide is remarkable. The semi-reclined position and 3D anatomical seat offer excellent comfort, great agility in thermals, and an optimal posture for high-performance transitions. Measurements confirm a gain in sink rate close to that of the Submarine, for a real performance gain without increasing the demands of the wing.

Certification

The Sublite is EN 1651-2018 certified for pilots weighing up to 115 kg. The EPP back protection achieved a maximum impact peak of 42 G during certification.
