The ultralight SLEEVE harness was specially designed for trail runners, climbers, ski mountaineers, bike tourers, and all ambitious mountaineers who don't want to compromise on the weight and size of their pack. This purist, ultralight harness weighs only 270 grams, fits easily into your jacket pocket, and is approved for a takeoff weight of up to 110 kilograms.
Why one size? By deliberately avoiding additional stiffeners, the harness is "floating" – similar to the hammock principle – and thus adapts to the rider's body shape. This means that a large riding area can be covered with a single size.
What impact does the harness have on the flight of a paraglider? The SLEEVE is a classic loop harness with a high suspension thanks to its design. This results in improved roll stability and dampened flight behavior in turbulence. This behavior is particularly pleasant, especially with very small paragliders.
Is the SLEEVE suitable for winching? The SLEEVE is not recommended for winch starting.
Is the SLEEVE suitable for tandem flight? The SLEEVE is suitable as a lightweight tandem passenger harness for Hike&Fly. However, the responsible tandem pilot must always consider the increased risk of material wear during intensive use.
