Prices displayed on Parapente-Proshop are estimated based on your geographical location.
This estimation may be incorrect in some cases (use of a VPN, country of connection different from the delivery country, etc.).
Final VAT calculation
The final applicable VAT rate is calculated only after the delivery address has been entered, just before the payment step.
The amount displayed at this stage is the final amount charged.
Deliveries within the European Union (EU)
For deliveries within the European Union, VAT is applied at the rate in force in the country of delivery, in accordance with European regulations.
The VAT amount therefore depends on the country where your order is delivered.
Deliveries outside the European Union
For deliveries outside the European Union (Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Dubai, Montenegro, etc.), orders are invoiced without VAT.
However, local taxes, import VAT and/or customs duties may be charged by the authorities of the destination country upon delivery.
Important information – Customers outside the European Union
If your delivery address is outside the European Union:

your order is invoiced without European VAT;

customs duties, local taxes and/or import VAT may be charged upon delivery;

these fees are not included in the prices shown on the website;

their amount depends solely on the regulations of the destination country.
Refusal to pay customs duties or taxes required by local authorities may result in the parcel being blocked, returned or destroyed, with no possibility of refund.
Example – Delivery to Switzerland
For delivery to Switzerland:

the order is invoiced without European VAT;

Swiss VAT is payable on import at the applicable rate (8.1%);

customs duties may apply. In Switzerland, these duties are generally low for this type of product and usually correspond to an order of magnitude of around 1–2% of the value, depending on the nature and weight of the goods;

these charges are collected by the carrier or Swiss customs upon delivery.
Parapente-Proshop does not intervene in the calculation or collection of these fees.
