Ultra-light cross harness

The WEIGHTLESS was developed for X-Alps athletes and specially refined for weight-conscious cross-country pilots. It is therefore the perfect harness for tackling ambitious projects ranging from Walk & Fly to XC and VolBiv, as well as high-level competition. Its standout features include minimal weight, a host of useful details, and exceptional comfort. This excellent, aerodynamic cross-country harness also impresses with its sleek and dynamic silhouette.

The new WEIGHTLESS is a further development of the athletes’ harness used in the 2021 X-Alps. It builds on the experience gained duringADVANCE ’s nine previous X-Alps participations, including five victories. The seat shell, internal structure, and harness system of the WEIGHTLESS are identical to those of the athlete version. A large proportion of the materials used are also the same as those in the athlete harness.

This ultra-light XC harness can be used by pilots weighing as little as 1.9 kg, and even in this configuration, it offers a high level of comfort for long-distance flights. Despite its extremely low weight, the WEIGHTLESS features appropriate reinforcements, optimized use of materials, and a speedbag made of stretchy elastane.
The WEIGHTLESS is certified up to 120 kg.

The WEIGHTLESS makes no compromises when it comes to safety or comfort! This harness features a built-in reserve parachute pocket. The reserve is easy to use since it doesn’t need to be pre-inflated. The WEIGHTLESS offers useful and practical features as well as an ingenious cockpit.

Twin-Fit Protector

The two-part protection system consists of a foam protector and the backpack, which fits into the compartment above. The result: more compact storage of the equipment and more available space in the back compartment. It is also possible to use an additional protective element, allowing the backpack to be stored in the back compartment in the conventional manner.

New LIGHTPACK ULS

The LIGHTPACK ULS is constructed using "Ultra Light Structure" technology and is included in the WEIGHTLESS's extensive package. It is also based on the X-Alps athlete's backpack and features specially designed shoulder straps and numerous practical details. The LIGHTPACK ULS is available in 52-, 60-, and 70-liter sizes.

PERFECT AERODYNAMICS

The WEIGHTLESS’s rear spoiler provides low-drag aerodynamic performance. This performance advantage is accompanied by excellent longitudinal stability. Two small air intakes inflate the spoiler, keeping it taut and free of creases at all times during flight.

Built-in emergency compartment

The WEIGHTLESS has a built-in reserve parachute pocket; the reserve is attached to the shoulder straps. This system enhances safety, greatly simplifies overall handling, and reduces the risk of incorrect use.

AN INTERCHANGEABLE SPEEDBAG

Naturally, a WEIGHTLESS meetsADVANCE ’s quality standards and is therefore available in a choice of three speedbag sizes. The benefits of this offering are clear: an extended harness lifespan and a perfect fit for the pilot’s body. The speedbag comes with a sturdy yet extremely lightweight, state-of-the-art carbon footrest.

ULTRA-LIGHT COCKPIT

The WEIGHTLESS cockpit is extremely practical and very lightweight. It detaches easily, has a zippered pocket, and a separate compartment for batteries. The instrument panel measures 20 x 13 cm.

The WEIGHTLESS is an ultralight harness. The "Handle with Care" label is meant to remind you at all times that this product’s lifespan depends largely on how well you care for it. Mechanical stress, such as friction against the ground, accelerates the aging process and must be avoided at all costs. A lightweight product is significantly more vulnerable to damage of all kinds.
